CNC Programmer

Accutool provides a precision engineering service to the aircraft and medical devices industries.   A role currently exists for a CNC Programmer/operator with the following experience over 5 years:

The successful candidate will have a thorough knowledge of fixed head 2 axis CNC Lathes and be extremely knowledgeable in the programming, set up and running of these machines.

They will also have full knowledge of 3 axis CNC Machining Centers (Milling) and the programming of these.   They will have the ability to undertake a new job from start to finish every day, i.e. interpret a drawing, understand the tolerances called for, choose the correct material, program and set-up and run the CNC Machines, check first offs and maintain the necessary quality for the complete job.

They must also have the ability to lead a team of CNC operators completing all operations such as blank preparation, initial setup, helicoils, de burring, part marking and all other finishing ops. 

 Experience of working to deadlines to achieve production targets is a must.
